Growing up as a “brace face” and “metal mouth” himself, Dr. Owais was more commonly known by these epithets than his first name (albeit slightly easier to pronounce). He made it his life mission to turn these nicknames into accolades and turn braces into the coveted wish list item for every child’s birthday and holiday gift!
Dr. Owais brings a seamless harmony to our practice, working hand in hand to deliver exceptional care. With his attention to detail and commitment to excellence, he plays an instrumental role in enhancing the patient experience and ensuring that each visit is met with satisfaction and smiles.

Credentials
With an impressive educational background, Dr. Owais’ journey towards orthodontic excellence began right here in Manassas as valedictorian of Stonewall Jackson High School (now known as Unity Reed). At the prestigious University of Virginia, he earned his degree in Biology. He continued his pursuit of knowledge at the renowned Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry, where he obtained his DDS degree and was president of his class. Standing out from the crowd, he was one of the select few nationwide chosen for the Orthodontics specialty program, where only 4 students are selected each year. This offered him the opportunity to learn from the greatest minds in the field.
During his time in the specialty program, Dr. Owais immersed himself in groundbreaking research, focusing on the latest advancements in orthodontic technologies. His exceptional work earned him multiple grants, highlighting his dedication to staying at the forefront of his profession. As a distinguished member of the esteemed OKU dental honor society, a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics, and the recipient of various leadership awards, Dr. Owais’ commitment to excellence shines through every aspect of his practice.
